グラム陰性菌におけるβ-ラクタマーゼ

β-lactamases in gram-negative bacteria

　β-ラクタマーゼはβ-ラクタム系薬を加水分解する酵素である．本酵素は，AmblerによってクラスA～クラスDまでの4種類に分類された．最近，クラスAおよびクラスDの酵素のなかにオキシイミノセファロスポリン系薬やカルバペネム系薬を分解する酵素が出現してきた．本稿では，基質特異性拡張型β-ラクタマーゼやカルバペネマーゼを含めて，β-ラクタマーゼの性質および検出法などに関して解説する．

β-lactamases are enzymes that hydrolyze the peptide bond in the β-lactam ring. They can be classified into 4 different molecular classes-A, B, C and D in the schema by Ambler et al. Class A and D β-lactamases have developed the ability to hydrolyze oxyiminocephalosporins and carbapenems. In this manuscript, I will try to explain the characteristics of important β-lactamases and methods to detect them.
