顔面神経麻痺で発症した側頭骨錐体部内血管腫の2例

Two Cases of Intratemporal Capillary Hemangioma with Hemifacial Paresis

I．緒言

　血管腫は頭頸部領域において皮膚，軟部組織によくみられる良性腫瘍であるが，側頭骨に発生することはきわめて稀であるとされている。今回われわれは顔面神経麻痺で発症した側頭骨錐体部内血管腫の乳幼児2例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Hemangioma is the most common single tumor in the head and neck region. However, it was rarely found in the temporal bone. We report intratemporal hemangiomas which manifested as facial paresis in two 11-month-old babies.

　At surgery, the tumors were found to destroy the facial canal, extending deep into the surrounding tissue.

　Complete eradication of the tumors was not achieved in both cases but regrowth of the tumors were not recognized at one year and 7 years after the surgery respectively.
