I．はじめに

　耳管通気法は滲出性中耳炎などに対して日常広く行われている治療法である。しかし本法により頭蓋内合併症を生じる可能性のあることが以前から指摘されており，またその報告もみられている。最近われわれも滲出性中耳炎に対して耳管通気を施行し髄液漏および気脳症をきたした症例を経験したので報告する。

　A case of liquorrhea and pneumocephalus following middle ear insulation performed for treatment of secretory otitis media was described.

　A bony deficiency of the posterior wall of the temporal pyramidal bone was confirmed surgically. The mechanism of such intracranial complications was discussed and the literature was reviewed. Middle ear insufflation should be carried out with extreme care in cases of secretory otitis media.
