イヤーモールドによる外耳道・中耳異物の1例

Ear Mold Foreign Body in the External Ear Canal and Middle Ear: eport of a Case

I．はじめに

　耳鼻咽喉科領域の異物のなかで外耳道異物はその大半を占める^1,2）が，中耳に及ぶものはまれである^3）。また医原性の中耳異物としては経鼓膜チューブの中耳内脱落がある^4）が，今回われわれは耳栓の型取りに使用されたシリコンラバーの外耳道から中耳に及ぶ異物症例を経験したので報告する。

　A 6-year-old boy was instilled silicone rubber into the left external ear canal for making an ear plug for swimming in a hearing-aid shop and the silicone rubber was stuck in the external ear canal and partially in the middle ear cavity through a drum perforation. Next day this foreign body was removed under general anesthesia in our hospital.

　Making an ear-mold for the ear with a perforation, the procedure should be done under physician's medical care.
