観血的治療を行った唾液腺症の1症例

A Case of Sialadenosis

I．はじめに

　唾液腺腫脹をきたす疾患のうち腫瘍あるいは炎症以外の成因により，多くは両側性の無症候性大唾液腺腫脹をきたす疾患は唾液腺症（sialadenosis）と呼ばれている。今回われわれは24歳女性の唾液腺症と考えられる症例に対し美容形成的手術を行う機会を得たので若干の文献的考察を加えここに報告する。

　A 24-year-old female had a bilateral and painless swelling in the parotid and submandibular areas. Sialography and CT scan revealed no tumor but a swelling without signs of inflammation. A preoperative diagnosis of sialadenosis was made and bilateral subtotal parotidectomy was performed. The literature on its general characteristics and treatment was reviewed.
