舌根部骨腫の1症例

A Case of Glossal Osteoma

I．はじめに

　舌に発生する骨腫はきわめて稀といわれる。最初の記載は1913年Monsarrat^1）に遡り現在まで10数例を数えるにすぎない。本邦では1938年牟田ら^1）のただ1例をみるのみである。

　著者は1980年1症例に遭遇したが，最近に至って初めてその稀少性を指摘され認識を新たにして追加発表する。

　A case of glossal osteoma in an 8-year-old boy is reported. His complaint was a foreign body sensation in the throat. A tumor was found in the left side of the foramen caecum linguae and its shape was ovoid of 0.4cm in diameter and covered with normal glossal mucosa. The histological study revealed the maturely developed bone tissue.

　Reviewing the literatures it was the 15th case in the world.
