耳鳴治療に対するxylocain静注の効果と聴力に及ぼす影響について

Intravenous Xylocain Injection for Tinnitus and Its Effect on Hearing

I．緒言

　1935年Barany^1）は鼻中隔手術の目的で1％novocain（adrenalin入り）を鼻中隔粘膜に浸潤麻酔したところ耳鳴が消失した症例があったことを報告した。この報告以来耳鳴治療に局所麻酔剤が用いられるようになった。

　現在では主にxylocain（lidocain）が用いられており，その用法としては静脈内注射が一般的であるが，その耳鳴治療に関する作用機序は解明されていない。

　The change of the tinnitus sound and the pure tone threshold after the intravenous xylocain injection in tinnitus patients was investigated.

　The results were as follows:

　1) In the patients suffered from retrocochlear lesion, the tinnitus was ceased after xylocain injectio slightly longer than those of the cochlear lesion.

　2) After the intravenous xylocain injection, pure tone threshold was slightly elevated, and amplitude of fixed Bekesy audiometry tracing was reduced.
