上咽頭脂肪腫の1症例

Lipoma of the Nasopharynx

I．はじめに

　上咽頭良性腫瘍は，稀なものとされている。なかでも，脂肪腫は報告例も少なく，われわれの調べた限りでは，過去に5例の報告例があるだけであり，本邦における報告例は見出せなかった。

　われわれは，嗅覚障害を主訴として来院し，後鼻鏡所見で腫瘍を発見し，切除を行ったところ，病理学的に脂肪腫であった上咽頭腫瘍患者を経験したので報告する。

　Lipoma of the nasopharynx is rare, and to our knowledge, there are only five reports of nasopharyngeal lipoma since 1891.

　In a 48-year-old man complaining of anosmia, nasopharyngeal examination revealed a smooth pedunculated tumor. The patient had no other otolaryngologic findings except sensorineural anosmia.

　Under local anesthesia the tumor was snared through the nasal cavity, and the histological examination revealed lipoma of the nasopharynx.
