上咽頭にみられた多形性腺腫の1症例

Pleomorphic Adenoma of the Nasopharynx

　I．はじめに

　多形性腺腫（いわゆる混合腫瘍）は，唾液腺に発生する良性腫瘍として最も頻度が高い。耳下腺はその好発部位であるが，本腫瘍は大唾液腺以外にも口腔底，頬粘膜，口蓋，鼻副鼻腔，咽頭，喉頭，気管支などに発生し，その報告がなされている。しかし，上咽頭を発生母地とした多形性腺腫の報告は極めて少なく，本邦では1例をみるだけである。最近筆者らは，上咽頭に発生した多形性腺腫の1例を経験したので報告する。

　Pleomorphic adenoma arises very rarely fromthe nasopharynx. In this report, a patient who had been suffered from continuous nasal obstruction for about twelve years is reported. In the twenty-seven-year-old female patient, a walnut-sized tumor was detected in her nasopharynx by postnasal mirror, X-ray tomography and CT scan. The tumor was surgically removed, and histological examination of the tumor revealed pleomorphic adenoma.
