慢性化膿性中耳炎にみられた緑膿菌以外のPseudomonas感染症について—薬剤感受性と臨床的選択

STUDIES ON CHRONIC OTITIS MEDIA CAUSED BY PSEUDOMONAS SPECIES EXCEPT FOR P. AERUGINOSA

　I．はじめに

　緑膿菌（Pseudomonas aeruginosa）による感染症が依然として，感染性疾患の中で重要な位置を占めていることは周知の事実である。

　しかし最近はそれに加えて，いわゆるopportunistic pathogensの一翼を担う緑膿菌以外のpseudomonas spp. を含むブドウ糖非醗酵性グラム陰性桿菌による感染症に関する報告が各科領域においてしばしばなされるようになつてきている。

　Ear infection caused by so-called "opportunists" of non-pathogenic or low-pathogenic microorganisms has been recently increased in the otolaryngological region.

　We studied on chronic otitis media caused by Pseudomonas spp. in our out-patient department.

　The studies were carried out on identification of causative bacteria, antibiotic sensitivity to the bacteria and clinical observation.

　Causative bacteria were identified in their growth in selective media, and flagella stain and their biochemical characteristics were studied. P. putida, P. cepacia, and P. maltophilia were identified.

　As the results of sensitivity test with five antibiotics (ABPC, CBPC, CEX, EM, DOTC), DO-TC and GM showed high sensitivity.

　Though GM and DOTC showed high sensitivity, it is thought that DOTC was preferable to GM for the clinical use because DOTC has reversible side-effects.
