I．はじめに
耳鼻咽喉科領域における粘液表皮癌については，大唾液腺とくに耳下腺に発生した症例がしばしば報告されているが，これが上咽頭に発生することはきわめて稀である。最近，われわれは上咽頭に発生した粘液表皮癌の1例を経験したので，その概要を報告する。
A case of muco-epidermoid carcinoma that primarily developed and localized in the epipharynx of a 17-year-old female, is reported.
The patient complained of right nasal obstruction and epistaxis.
The examination revealed a hemispherical, reddish mass about the size thumb's head in the epipharynx.
The tumor was surgically removed and at present, 30 months after the operation, no recurrence of either, the symptom or growth, is seen.
