パラフィノームの2症例

PARAFFINOMA, A REPORT OF Two CASES

　Ⅰ．緒言

　人体内に異物を挿入また注入すると局所の組織を刺激して異物性炎症を起こし，異物肉芽が形成されて種々の障害を起こしやすい。1906年Heidingsfeld^1）がparaffinomaについて報告して以来これら異物の組織移植内の病理組織学的検索が種種行なわれているが，最近耳鼻咽喉科領域での報告例は少ない。

　われわれは外鼻形成術後鼻背部にいわゆるパラフィノームを生じた例を2例経験したので報告する。

　It is a well known fact that paraffinoma usually develops in the subcutaneous tissue following injection or implantion of the paraffin.

　Nasal paraffinoma is rarely seen today. The authors met two cases of paraffinoma the result of cosmetic nasal operation. The foreign bodies were carefully removed surgically. Microscopic examination showed a typical foreign body granuloma which is termed paraffinoma.
