上顎洞真菌症の2例

MYCOSIS OF THE MAXILLARY SINUS, A REPORT OF TWO CASES

　Ⅰ．緒言

　副鼻腔にみられる真菌症は比較的稀なものとされているが，近年，その報告はしだいに増加の傾向にある。われわれも，最近，歯性上顎洞炎に由来すると老えられる1例と，上顎洞にfungus ballを形成した1例の，計2例の上顎洞真菌症を経験したので，ここに報告する。

　Two cases of mycosis of the maxillary sinus are reported.

　In the first case the origin of the fungus infection rooted from the dental source resulting in maxillary sinusitis. In the second case, the maxillary cavity by sinus operation was found to be packed by a dried curd-like material which proved to be a ball of fungus by later microscopic examination.

　Both patients were successfully cured by Caldwell-Luc operation.
