肋軟骨利用による套管抜去困難症の一治験例

A DIFFICULT DECANULATION AND A COSTAL CARTILAGE GRAFT

　I．はじめに

　気管套管抜去困難症の治療法について，多種多様な方法が報告されているが，抜去困難を来たす原因によつて，治療法が異なるのは当然であり，したがつて，それぞれの治療法の優劣を論ずることは無理であることが多い。私たちが経験した肋軟骨利用による套管抜去成功の症例も，比較的簡単に適用できる一方法としてご参考に供したいと考え，文献的考察とともにここに報告する。

A case of difficult decanulation is reported. The patient was a boy, aged 11, upon whom an emergency tracheotomy had been performed at the age 3. The patient had suffered for 8 years with this condition.

Decanulation was successfully carried out and the dehiscence in the tracheal wall caused by this removal was mended by the use of costal cartilage transplant.
