喉頭の上皮内癌

CARCINOMA IN SITU OF THE LARYNX

　Ⅰ．緒言

　上皮内癌（carcinoma in situ）とは，悪性腫瘍の判定基準である間質内浸潤増殖の像を欠き，上皮基底膜上すなわち上皮層内に局在して細胞および核の異型を伴う異型増殖をいい，間質内浸潤への前駆状態として特殊な状態にあるものと考えられている。したがつて，適確な試切により早期に診断を確定し得れば，治療上満足すべき結果が得られる。上皮内癌は子宮頸部粘膜上皮や皮膚にもつとも普通にみられるが，喉頭における発生は比較的少ないものとされており，Broders^1）の報告以後もそれについての報告は散見されるに過ぎず，あまり注目されていないようである。最近われわれは喉頭の上皮内癌の数例を経験したので，若干の考察を加えて報告する。

　Four cases of squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx are reported with a review of literature on the similar subject.

　In three cases, the rough-surfaced tumors were found on the vocal cord and in the remaining one the carcinoma was accompanied by abundant polyp formation. Hoarseness was the chief complaint in every one of the cases.

　Radiation therapy is the choice for treatment of these cases as it is well accepted generally, in cases of glottic carcinoma in their early stages.
