喉頭蓋ならびに全身に多発せる類上皮嚢腫の1例

EPITHELIOID TUMOR THAT OCCURRED ON THE EPIGLOTTIS AND OTHER PARTS OF BODY

　Ⅰ．緒言

　喉頭嚢腫は喉頭の良性腫瘍の中でも乳頭腫粘膜ポリープおよび線維腫などに較べて非常に少ないとされているが文献的には現在までかなりの報告がある。特に喉頭蓋に発生する嚢腫は喉頭の嚢腫中もつとも多い率を示している。

　最近当教室において喉頭蓋に多発性に発生した類上皮嚢腫の一症例を経験したので過去50年間における本邦文献中にみられた喉頭蓋嚢腫の統計的観察をも含めて報告する。

　Multiple epithelioid formation was found on the epiglottis and other parts of the body the chest and abdomen in a man, aged 58. A review of literature showed the growth occurring more prevalentely among those advanced in age and in men four times more than in women. The symptoms presented are generally mild in nature which may simulate a foreign body disturbance when it effects the larynx.
