家族性難聴の臨床的観察

CLINICAL OBSERVATIONS ON FFAMILIAL DEAFNESS

　Ⅰ．緒言

　われわれが日常の外来で思春期前後に特別の原因なくして発生し，緩徐に進行する難聴の患者に遭遇したとき，その家族歴を詳しく問診すると，その近親者の間にも同様の患者のあることが明らかになることがある。

　今回，われわれは最近約5年間に東大難聴外来にて経験したそのような症例の家系を追究し30家系，60例にいわゆる家族性難聴を見出したので，その臨床像を中心に若干の考察を加えて報告する。

　A clinical study of 60 cases of familial deafness, who came to the attention of the Tokyo University Otologic clinic during the recent period of past 5 years, derived from 30 families of familial-deafness is made. The deafness occurred as equal number in both sexes and the ages of onset were in the patient's teens and twenties. The tonal losses were found in the high and middle; in number of cases the loss appeared to be progressive. The speech hearing was well preserved in cases with hearing-loss at 60 db. Vestibular functional test appeared to be normal in most cases. The result of these cases are discussed with reference to other similar cases reported in the literature.
