完全聾から聴力改善をみた突発性難聴症例

3 CASES OF SUDDEN AND SEVERE DEAFNESS

Ⅰ．緒言

　感音性難聴はその発病様態から急性と慢性とに大別されるが，突発性難聴は前者の典型例である。

　今回はわれわれの経験した突発性難聴症例のうちから初診時患耳は完全聾であつたが，その後の経過観察で聴力に改善の見られた3例をとり上げ，急性難聴の病態に関する見解を述べると共に，その発生ならびに回復機転に若干の考察を加えてみたい。

Three cases of sudden deafness are reported. They had a common characteristic in that hearing in the affected ear had been totally lost at the first examination, but in a few weeks it was remarkably recovered.

The possible mechanism of the inner ear deafness which may recover is considered from a electrophysiological point of view. The significance of endolymphatic DC potential on the inner ear auditory mechanism is discussed.
