神経性難聴に対するBTMP大量療法

TREATMENT OF NERVE DEAFNESS WITH USE OF BTMP (BIOTAMIN) IN MASSIVE DOSES

　はじめに

　神経性難聴はわたくしたち耳鼻科医が比較的よく遭遇する疾患であり，いろいろの治療法が行なわれて来たが，予後不良のものが少なからず認められる。現在広く行なわれているのは全身的薬物療法がおもで，しかも活性型ビタミンB₁の大量療法が容易となつたため，それを使用しての治療成績の報告も多くみられるようになつた。わたくしたちも1回量75mg，100mg，300mgの大量投与の症例を重ねて来たが，投与量と聴力改善の傾向に有意の差を認めたので，その成績を報告する。

　For treatment on nerve deafness Biotamin was administered in massive doses in 149 patients. The results were as follows. Improvement of hearing occurred in general, in 52.3 % of patients. In 16.1% of the patients a marked improvement was seen. The dosage of the drug ranged from 100mg to 300mg per day. The more recent the affection the more effective was the result in the administration of this agent.
