　1882年にvon Recklinghausenは，皮膚に多発する小腫瘍群，皮膚色素斑及び神経幹腫瘍の三徴候を主として，その他脊柱彎曲，内分泌障害，精神々経学的異常，骨格変化等を伴う一系統的疾患をNeurofibromatosisと命名した。それ以来，幾多の報告があり，その発生原因としては，内分泌説，外傷説，中毒説，遺伝説，伝染説等があり一定した見解がない。最近，吾教室に於て本症の一部分症として鼻翼に現れた4症例について報告する。

　Four similar cases of Recklinghausen s disease are reported. It is not rare in this disease for the tumefaction involving the facial region, but these were interesting in that the tumor was found in the nasal alar alike, while the other parts of the body was relatively free. In 2 cases attempt was made for removal of the tumor by plastic operation but, 2 months later the growth made a reappearance.
