流涎症の1例

PTYALISM

　Ⅰ．緒言

　内外の文献によると流涎症に関する報告例はすくない。したがつて，その治療についても，確実なものはない。最近われわれは，両側顎下腺を摘出することにより，症状を軽快せしめた，流涎症の1例を経験したので，報告する。

A case of ptyalism is reported. In spite of the finding of dilatation of the Wharton's duct and excessive salivation, the submaxil-lary gland was neither enlarged nor under pressure pain. The microscopic examination after removal of the gland revealed a pic-ture of chronic inflammatory process.
