奇異な耳下腺唾液腫症例

PECULIAR CASES OF THE SWELLING OF PAROTID GLANDS

　耳下腺部の腫脹を生ずる疾患には種々のものが知られているが，奇異な耳下腺唾液腫ともいうべき耳下腺腫脹を訴えた症例を4例経験したので報告する。主訴は何れも周期的に生ずる起床時に最も著明な耳下腺部の腫脹である。

Four cases of peculiar swelling of the paro-tid gland are reported. The swelling which seemed to have been caused by salivary accumulation during the night appeared each morning and lasted until after the time the breakfast was eaten when it was completely discharged; after which the parotid gland appeared to be normal.
