家族性内耳性難聴について

　Ⅰ．緒言

　家族性内耳性難聴の存在は古くは1901年のPolitzerの報告に始まり，Hammerschlag，Albrechtｍ Dolowitzｍ Johnsen，Kinney，Fowler et Basek等による報告があり，又，我が国でも昭和10年佐藤によりその存在が発表され，その後，山田，河田，荻場，原口，島田等々の報告が見られる。しかし先天性聾唖の研究に比しその数は少なく，遺伝形式，聴力像及び難聴の性状，聾唖との関係等々その本態は不明確な点が多々あり，今後解明すべき興味ある問題が数多く存在すると思われる。

　従来の報告は何れも或る患者から出発してその家系樹を辿りその検索を進めたいわば縦の方向での検討であるので，私は今回，家族性内耳性難聴の症例を集めて横の方向での検討及び文献的考察を加えてみたので茲に報告し諸賢の御批判を仰ぎたいと思う。

　The histories of 32 patients with diagnosis made of familial labyrinthine deafness at the Otolaryngoloical Department of the Hirosaki Medical University since 1958 to 1962 were reexamined. Similar rise in the threshold level was seen for the air and bone conductions alike causing a pattern of peculiar horizontally indented types of audiograms. The audiograms were divided into 2 distinct types.
