アデノイド切除や扁剔の際，特に注意しなければならないものの一つに，血管，就中，動脈の異常走行がある。
アデノトミーの際，咽頭後壁に現われた異常走行血管を傷つけ不測の事態をかもした例も文献に見られ，咽頭の手術操作前の慎重な視診触診が強調されている。
A patient complained of pharyngeal irrita-tion. Examination showed a pulsating protu-berance in the lower pharynx. X-ray exami-nation following arteriography showed the swelling to be an abnormal course the cervical artery had taken. Two case of similar nature are reported.
