Two cases of otitic cerebral abcess are re-ported.

Case 1. The diagnosis of cerebral abcess of otitic origin was established in a man, aged 21. The abcess was drained by Ramadier's operative method and during which the abcess cavity was filled with 40% molyodol. The presence of the latter is still evident without any change in its from 10 years after the procedure; the patient is well and has no untoward symptoms.

Case 2. A woman aged 56 died of cerebe-llar abcess of otitic origin. Clinically the pa-tient was affected with external otitis and ch-ronic otitis media; she was afebrile; there was no symptom to suspect cerebral thrombo-sis. The patient suddenly developed difficul-ties in ambulation and balance; three days later she died. The cerebella abcess was found by post-mortem examination.
