耳性小脳膿瘍の1治験例

　緒言

　脳膿瘍には，耳真珠種に由来する側頭脳膿瘍が最も多く，起炎菌には連鎖状球菌によるものが，多いとされているが，耳性小脳膿瘍は症例比較的少く，又治癒し難いと云はれ，Lewis, Managse，Denker, Goerdt, Uffenorde, Unterberger，Ranaes，二本杉，田中，斎藤，夏目，大橋，その他の諸氏の報告があり，近年化学療法の進歩に伴い，症例は更に減少している。最近典型的な，少脳症候を来し，小脳部に化膿寵を認め，之が排膿を計ると共に，「ペニシリン」水溶液を局所に使用し，全治せしめた症例を観察したので茲に報告追加する。

KOSHIRO report a case of cerebellar abcess that originated from cholesteatomatous otitis me-dia. The patient, a boy aged 13, who showed meningeal symptoms appeared to be recovered when a radical mastoidectomy was performed. But a few weeks later he developed a typical cerebellar symptoms and cerebellar abcess was confirmed by trephination and x-ray pictures. The abcess was drained with a rubber dam and penicillin was used parenterally. The patient made a good progress to a complete recovery.
