鼻中隔混合腫瘍の1治験例

　我が耳鼻咽喉科領域に於ける混合腫瘍については，従来より数多くの報告があるが，中でも耳下腺混合腫瘍は代表的なものの様である。然し乍ら鼻腔の混合腫瘍は非常に少く，就中鼻中隔の混合腫瘍は，著者等のしらべた本邦の文献では，わずかに2例をみたのみである。著者等は最近，左側鼻中隔より発生した巨大なる混合腫瘍の一例を経験し，手術と放射線治療により治癒せしめ得たので，大方の参考に供せんとし茲に報告する。

　症例は，27歳の男子で，職業は商人。

　A large mixed tumor that originated from the nasal septum on the left side was surgically removed through intranasal approach. Microscopically the growth was found to be a mixed tumor of fibromyxo- and epithelial in character but it appeared to have no connection to the septal cartilage nor the limina perpendicularis. In after treatment the patient was given irradiation treatment mainly for the purpose of preventing a possible malignant turn in the affected area.
