会厭膿瘍について

　I．緒言

　会厭膿瘍についてはMisel，Chanberlin，Levinstein等の報告を始めとして数多くの報告があり，我国に於ても多数の記載がある。

　私達は最近，会厭舌面に発生せる限局性の会厭膿瘍の一例を得たので報告し，併せて本邦文献中に見られた30数例と共に統計的観察を行つた。

　A case of epiglottitis anterior, found in a man, aged 36, is reported. Other similar cases reported in the literature of this country, numbering 39, are reviewed and discussed from the standpoint of etiology, the causative organism, age, sex, prognosis and therapy.
