一側聾詐病症例

　最近の交通事故，労務災害の激増に伴いそれに対する賠償，補償の確立は，一方には詐病の増加を来している。当科領域にても，この一般的傾向を反映し，補償認定と詐病とが多くなりつつあるが，耳鼻科医としてはその専門的な権威のためにも社会的影響の大きい事からも，詐病を見逃すことは許されない。私は1例は交通事故により，他は労務災害により，頭部を受傷し一側聾をきたしたと称する詐聴（誇張）の2例に遭遇したので，その詐聴発見経過を述べて，諸賢の御参考に供したいと思う。

　症例1　浅○忠　♂　19歳　外交員

Malingering was detected and established in 2 cases who complained alike a unilateral deafness following a head injury. In the pro-cess of its detection the delayed speech test proved to be an invaluable aid. The author emphasizes the need of extreme care in han-dling any case of traumatic deafness.
