急性内耳炎の手術的療法

　所謂慢性中耳炎なる疾患はレ線的或は組織学的には慢性側頭骨々髄炎である。此に続発する内耳炎は卵月窓，正月窓を介して起る場合もあるが，組織学的に認められる慢性側頭骨々髄炎が其原因の重要因子を占めている事は想像に難くない。然し乍ら従来は後者に就ては比較的等閑に附されて来た。

　飜つて斯る内耳炎の治療に就て考えるに，従来は乳突鑿開，保存的中耳根治手術，或いは所謂中耳根治手術を行い，其以上は内耳を取囲む錐体病巣も，内耳も供手傍観されて来た。

Niho and Yasuda report that a radical tem-poral bone operation after the method known as Niho and Hirano combined with fenestration operation was instrumental in regaining hea-ring in a woman, aged 38. Chief complaints of the patient were dizziness and loss of hearing. Examination showed the presence of pseudo-cholesteatomatous mastoiditis and a later revel-ation of inner ear involvement. After the oper-ation the dizziness was cured and on the 57th day post-operative the speech hearing which was zero distance before, now increased to 6 meters.
