原発性前頭洞癌の1症例

　鼻腔及び副鼻腔の腫瘍は多く見られるが，上部副鼻腔に原発する腫瘍は比較的少く，特に前頭洞には稀れであり，且其多くは嚢腫，骨腫等良性腫瘍で，癌腫は非常に稀れとされているが，最近私は臨床的，自他覚症状より，前頭洞「ピオツエーレ」の診断のもとに手術を行い，開洞後病理組織的に前頭洞に原発せる扁平上皮細胞癌と決定せる1症例を経験したので，御報告する次第である。

Kaito gives a detailed description of the pri-mary cancer of the frontal sinus. The number of cases of such cancers reported in the lite-rature of this country is about 10 in all, wi-th the first by Matsuda, in 1925. Not only is the primary cancer of the frontal sinus rare in occurrence but also, is the diagnosis con-fronted with marked difficulty until when the growth has infiltrated either, the nasal cavity or the occular fossa thereby, rendering the treatment by surgical removae beyond a reaso-nable consideration. The prognosis of this di-sease is highly unfavorable.
