前頭洞真菌症の1症例

A Case of fungus ball of the frontal sinuses

I．はじめに

　副鼻腔真菌症はしばしばみられる疾患である。その多くは上顎洞に認められるが，前頭洞にみられるものは少なく，前頭洞のみにみられるのは1.8％^2），6.8％^3），6.8％^4）と報告されている。今回われわれは，前頭洞のみに発生した副鼻腔真菌症の1例を経験したので報告する。

Fungus balls（Mycetomas）are noted most often in the maxillary sinuses and least often in the frontal sinuses. A 77-year-old man complained of pain around the left orbit,left nasal discharge and left nasal obstruction. CT scan showed a mycetoma of the left frontal sinus. We performed endscopic sinus surgery for his frontal sunus. No recurrence was noted at 6 months after operation.
