Klebsiella屬菌による急性乳樣突起炎の1異型

　急性乳樣突起炎を惹起する細菌としては種々のものが擧げられているが，こゝに述べんとする，Klebsiellaによる眞性乳樣突起炎は極めて稀であり本邦では未だその症例報告を聞かない。余等は最近その1例に遭遇したので，その特異な臨床所見と共に起炎菌の細菌學的検索成績について報告し，先人の症例に追加せんとするものである。

KOMORI and NAKAMURA report a case of mastoiditis which was painless and without fever in its development and that, when the patient sought consultation for the first time because of ear pain which was manifested at the end of 40 days of illnes, the disease had already progressed to periosteal and meningeal abcesses. The patient is a woman aged 64. Examination of the affected ear showed the tympanic membrane to be intact and without any abnormality. Bacterial culture from pus material showed organisms that resembled Klebsiella Ozene. The patient was cured by mastoidectomy and use of sulfazine and homo-sulfamin postoperatively.
