最近珍しいムコーズス乳突炎2例

　緒言

　1906年Wittmaachが，粘液性連鎖状球菌に依る，急性化膿性中耳炎について，臨床的研究を公にし，自覚的症状軽微にして，合併症を起し易く，其の経過の遷延し易き事を注意して以来，世界各国を通じ多数の報告，業績，相次いで発表されたが，終戦後ペニシリン出現の為か，ムコーズス中耳炎は少くなり，特に手術を要する症例は非常に少ない樣に思われる．我々は最近珍しく2例の手術例に遭遇したのでここに報告する．

OKUI and OKUNAKA report two cases of mastoiditis which were caused by mucosus infection of the middle ear. Both were cured by operation. They also note that muccsus infections of the middle ear havh been decreased by a large measure in the post-war period whereas, befcre the war they were rather common; possible reasons for this change are discussed.
