骨転移を起せる原発性前額洞癌の1例

　緒言

　副鼻腔のうち前額洞に原発せる癌腫の報告例は極めて少く，予の捗猟する範囲内では，吾が国では9例，外国ではE, G. Breediug（1940）に依れば28例の報告をみるのみである．

　最近慢性汎副鼻腔炎（左側）と診断して汎副鼻腔炎根治手術を施行した処，術後経過良好でなく組織検索の結果前額洞の扁平上皮癌である事を確認し，剖見にて，頭蓋骨，頸椎，肋骨並びに肺臟に癌腫の転移を起して死亡した1症例に遭遇したので茲に報告し，御批判を仰ぎ度いと思ふ．

　ISHIKAWA reports a case of epithelioma of the frontal sinus which was diagnosed by tissue studiesonly when the sinus failed to improve after an operation, The patient died. Necropsy showed metastasis of the malignancy in the malar bone, cervical vertebrae, costal bones and in the lungs.
