A male, married, aged 28, with slight hypertension and gastritis since the age of 27, had complained of slight pain of about two months's duration resulted from subcutaneous nodules of normal skin color and faintly erythematous color on his leg. Clinically eleven nodules on the right lower part of the leg, seven on the left part, and one on the loin were foaund (toal nodules: 18). Red cell count was 3,720,000 per cubic millimeter, hemoglobin, 78%Sahli ; Thorn's test, +10%. Histollogically this showed typical figure of periarteritis nodosa described by Kassmaul-Maier.
