聴神経より発生したMalignant Schwannomaの1例

Malignant Schwannoma of Acoustic Nerve: A case report

I．はじめに

　聴神経より発生するschwannomaは病理組織学的には一般には良性腫瘍^14）で，聴神経由来の‘malignant schwannoma’の報告は，われわれが調べた限りでは見い出し得ない．

　われわれは右聴神経より発生した腫瘍で，組織学的に‘malignant schwannoma’の所見を示し，極めて急激な臨床経過をとった1例を経験した．本症例の病理組織学的所見に関しては既に他誌に詳細に報告したので^12），今回はその臨床経過を中心に若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

Abstract

During a routine physical examination in 1976, a 54-year-old man was noted to suffer from hearing difficul-ty and continuing tinnitus of his right ear. He had, however, no further consultations for the next five years, although the symptom persisted and gradually worsened. In May 1981, he experienced complete hear-ing loss in his right ear. A computed tomography dis-closed no abnormalities, and other laboratory tests were unremarkable.
