I．はじめに

　視床下部に腫瘤性病変として原発し，かつ，尿崩症を来たした原発性頭蓋内悪性リンパ腫の症例は極めて稀である．今回，われわれはステロイド剤が短期間で著効を示し，臨床及びCT所見に一致し髄液中のβ-2-microglobulin（β-2-MG），及び免疫グロブリン（IgA，IgG,IgM）の変動がみられた視床下部原発性の悪性リンパ腫について，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する．

A case of primary malignant lymphoma involving the hypothalamus is reported.

A 31-year-old man was admitted with progressive disorientation. A computed tomography (CT) scan de-monstrated a normodense, homogenously enhanced, and nodular shaped mass lesion involving the suprasel-lar region and extending to the third ventricle. In view of marked cerebral edema, dexamethasone was in-travenously administered, at a dose of 4mg/4hr, and gradually tapered off. CT scans obtained 10 days after the admission revealed dramatic regression of the le-sion, which corresponded with the clinical remission.
