I．はじめに

　開頭術後の患者で頭蓋骨の穿頭部に一致した頭皮の陥凹を見ることがある．特に前額部の場合醜形となり患者の精神的負担は大きい．われわれは開頭時の骨欠損部や穿頭孔の骨形成に対して開頭時に得られた骨屑とBiobond^®（EDH-Adhesive）を混和，半固形にしたもので骨欠損部の形成を行い良好な結果を得ているので紹介する．

A new and simple cosmetic procedure for the preven-tion of skin depression produced by burr-holes was pre-sented. A mixture of the bone chips obtained at cra-niotomy and Biobond^® in a volume ratio of 7:3 was used to fill the bone defect of the burr-holes in 65 cases. The postoperative appearance was excellent cos-metically. This mixture had good plasticity, and could be formed into any irregular shape desired, and there was no increase in the incidence of infectious complica-tions.
