右利き交叉性失語を呈したthalamic germinomaの1例

A Case of Thalamic Germinoma with Crossed Aphasia in a Dextral

I．はじめに

　視床と言語機能との関係については以前より議論の多いところであり，一定の見解を得ていない．最近，われわれは右利き交叉性失語症をはじめ，多彩な臨床症状を呈し興味ある経過をたどった17歳男子の右視床部腫瘍を経験し，しかも病理組織学的にteratomatous componentとtwo cell pattern pinealomaの組織像を合わせもつgerminomaであった，従来多くの論議を呼んできた視床部の言語機能および交叉性失語症について検討する機会を得たので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

A patient, 17-year-old right-handed male, was admitted to Nippon Medical School Hospital with chief complaints of headache, abnormality of visual field and speech disturbance.
