 Palatal myoclonus (PM) is the important sign which indicates the existence of brainstem lesion, particularly involving Guillain-Mollaret's triangle. It have some remarkable features distinguishing from well-known Parkinson tremor. As compared with its well-defined pathology, its pathophysiology are still unknown. In this paper, the semiological and pathological features of PM were reviewed at first. Then, based on our experience, pathophysiology of PM was discussed.
