前庭反射弓への小脳のかかわり

The vestibular reflex arcs and the cerebellum

　前庭器官は，主として身体平衡に関与する受容器である。その機能は頭部変位にさいし，頸・躯幹・四肢筋の活動を調節し姿勢保持に関与すると同時に，外眼筋にも影響を与え眼球運動を引き起こし，もとの視点を一定に保つように働らくことにもある。それぞれ前庭脊髄反射，前庭動眼反射といわれている。前庭系と小脳の片葉小節葉（flocculonodular lobe）とは発生学的に密接な関係がある^12）。線維結合の点から見ても一次前庭求心線維がこの部位に投射しており，前庭小脳（vestibulocerebellum）という名称が主として片葉小節葉を指して呼ばれてきた所以である。さらに前庭小脳からは前庭神経核へプルキンエ細胞が投射し前庭動眼反射弓を抑制している。いっぽう，前庭脊髄反射弓は前庭小脳から抑制を受けないという点で前庭動眼反射弓と異なっている。しかしながら，最近のhorseradish peroxidase（HRP）法での研究によると，一次前庭求心線維の小脳への投射は片葉小節葉ばかりではなく，前葉虫部にも見られる^22）。そこで，本稿では一次前庭求心線維の小脳内投射部位を皮質に限って既知の前庭小脳とともに前葉虫部について概説し，これら小脳皮質からの前庭神経核への投射領域の比較，そして前庭脊髄・前庭動限反射との関連を対比させ，両反射弓の特徴と同時に小脳の運動制御機構についても考えてみたい。

Abstract

Vestibulo-cerebellar and cerebello-vestibular re-lations were briefly reviewed in connection with the vestibular reflex arcs. The major portions of the vestibuloocular and the vestibulospinal reflexes are the three-neuron chain. In spite of their similarity in neuronal construction, the vestibulo-spinal reflex arc is known to be free of inhibition from the vestibulocerebellum as contrasted to the vestibuloocular reflex receiving inhibitory influences from the flocculus or nodulus. However, the vestibulocerebellum is not the only part of the cerebellum that receives primary vestibular affer-ents.
