 A 54-year-old man developed gait disturbance and he was diagnosed as Parkinson's disease. In the early stage of the disease, L-DOPA was somewhat effective. When L-DOPA was not given for two weeks by accident, he fell into bedridden due to pronounced rigidity and akinesia, which were recovered by readministration of this drug. Bradykinesia and rigidity were most prominent symptoms. Tremor was hardly noticed. In a relative short time, his difficulties progressed and pronounced.

 One and half years later, he became enable to walk without support.
