  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

Visual acuity is varied with adaptation level, retinal position of the target, exposure time and so on. In the present paper, we discussed on the neural mechanism of visual acuity, and examined the relationship between the visual acuity and retino-cortical magnification factor (M-factor).

 1. The diameter of the cone and the distance between the ajacent cones accord with the values which give the highest resolving power when the pupil diameter and the light wave length are the optimal value.
