Abstract

 Hemispherectomy was carried out in 11 with a diagnosis of infantile hemiplegia. These patients presented severe and intractable convulsive seizures and also displayed intellectual abnormalities characterized by aggression and violent outbursts of temper. Clinical benefits were obtained in every operated case. Among the results, motor and sensory function were presented. The case of right hemiparesis under review is one of the suitable for detailed examination of the series.
