サルにおけるパーキンソン症状—実験的振戦を中心に

Primate model of Parkinsonian motor symptoms

　パーキンソン病の運動症状としてはよく知られているように，振戦，筋固縮（歯車現象を伴なう），akinesiaの三つを区別することができる。そこで以下に述べる動物モデルとしてのパーキンソン症状についてもこれらの症状をいちおう分けて考察したが，われわれがとくに興味をもって研究を進めている振戦を中心に述べたい。

Abstract

Parkinsonian motor symptoms (especially, spon-taneous tremor) experimentally produced inmonkeys were described. With the aid of third ventriculography and electrophysiological control method, a small coagulative lesion was placed in the mesencephalic ventromedial tegmental area at the level of the lower border of parvocellular part of the red nucleus. Immediately after coag-ulation, the monkey showed, more or less, mydriasis on the ipsilateral side, torticollis (nose toward the operated side) and characteristic flexed posture with hypokinesia on the contra-lateral upper limb.
