Introduction

In, 1974, Tsunoda found that in the Japanese, human voices except speech, cries of animals and chirps of insects as well as steady-state vowels are dealt in the verbal hemisphere dominance, but that in the Westerner, those are in the non-verbal hemisphere. In the Westerner, the verbal hemisphere deals with verbal sounds in the syllable units containing consonants which are expressed by logos and deals with calculation, while emotional voices expressed by pathos and cries in the natural world arc in the non-verbal hemisphere.
