With supramaximal repetitive stimulation on ulnar nerve, the evoked potentials of m. abd. quinti. were examined in the following childhood diseases, which have muscle hypotonia, muscle weakness and easy fatigability; congenital and Duchenne type progressive muscular dystrophy.benign myopathy, spinal progressive muscular atrophy and Down's syndrome. The results were, ① In diseases with some histological abnormalities on endoplates or muscle fibers showed waning phenomenon both by twitch and high frequent stimulation. Besides this phenomenon, post-tetanic depression was observed in P.M.D.
