われわれは最近，重症筋無力症の母親から生まれた一過性の新生児筋無力症の1例を経験した。
A case of transient neonatal myasthenia of a myasthenic mother was presented. Myasthenic symptoms appeared on the third day after delivery and lasted for 20 days, with complete recovery. Anticholinesterase drugs were used with dramatic effect.
This is apparently the first case of neonatal myasthenia, reported in Japan.
Antistriated muscle antibody was not demonstrated in this case by complement fixation method.
