Control mechanism in the autonomic regulation: On the set-point theory

Ⅰ．自律性調節とは何か

　この特集は自律神経の生理と病理に関するもののようであるが，自律調節と自律神経調節は同じではない。調節を云々する前に「自律系」について簡単に触れたい。

　生理学の教科書を繙くと自律神経反射という項目がある。対光反射，唾液の分泌，頸動脈洞反射から排尿に至るまですべて含まれている。反射というものは，受容器からの求心線維，中枢機構，奏効器に至る遠心性線維があって成り立つものであるが，光の強さを伝える網膜からの求心線維，頸動脈洞からのHeringの神経線維などは自律神経ではない。上記の反射はすべていわゆるsomaticな求心線維を上行する信号によっておこされるものであるから，厳密には体性－自律神経性反射というべきであろう。また従来体性反射として扱われている反射のなかに，たとえば筋紡錘への自律神経支配があるとすれば，その関与も考慮に入れる必要があろう。
